Cotton Ball Wreath

Happy Friday everyone! 13 days and it’ll be Christmas, I can’t wait! I’ve been obsessed with decorations and wreaths lately. I might have gone a little overboard on them for Christmas, but I can’t help myself. Luckily, I’ve found spots for each one, so it’s not like I’m running out of room, yet. I had so much fun making the burlap candy cane wreath and Christmas ornament wreath, I thought I’d switch it up a little bit.

I often wander the aisles of the Dollar Tree in hopes that ideas will pop into my head, half the time they do, half the time they don’t. I was in there to buy items for other projects and seen bags of cotton balls. I don’t know why, but I instantly thought of a wreath, partially because the cotton balls reminded me of snowballs. They have a lot of wreaths this year for Christmas, so I grabbed one and that’s how this cotton ball wreath came about!

All you need is a wreath, I bought a 12 inch one, cotton balls and a glue gun, so easy and simple! I purchased two bags of cotton balls but only ended up using one.

The wreath that I bought was similar to the one I purchased for the burlap candy cane wreath. To get to the form just unwrap the tinsel like I did for the candy cane wreath, it’s really easy to do.

I glued the cotton balls to the inside of the wreath first, then the middle and finally the outside of the form.

For the final touch I added a burlap bow I made, I’ll have a tutorial on that soon! This wreath will look perfect in our guest room! Best part about this project, minus the extra bag of cotton balls I bought, it only cost 2$ to make! Score. Thanks so much for stopping by!
