DIY Heart Slip-ons
I love slip-on shoes, love them. I’ve looked around and haven’t seen any that caught my eye. So, I decided to make them, the design, not the shoe! I went to K-Mart and got these white slip-ons for $7.99. Cheap, right?!
Now is where the fun begins!
Step 1: On the paper (I prefer some sort of thick scrapbooking paper), draw one side of a heart.Step 2: Fold the paper in half right where the lines end.
Step 3. Cut the outline of the heart out. Cut on the folded area.
Step 4: Your paper should look like this.
Before Step 5, put plastic bags into the shoe that way the form will stay in place.Step 5: Place the paper where you want your heart to be.
Step 6: Trace the heart with pen.
Step 7. Retrace the heart with black fabric marker.
Step 8: Fill in the rest of the heart with the fabric marker.
Repeat Steps 5-8 on both shoes.
After they’re all done, spray waterproof shoe sealant on them and there you have it!I now have my own heart slip-ons. 🙂
