Painted Terra Cotta Pots

Like any gal, I love Pinterest – scouring the best crafty ideas and resources that the internet has to offer, but time is oh, so limited. There was a while there that I hardly even breached the threshold of Pinterest. Now when we’re in the car and hubs is driving I can pop into the wonderful world of Pinterest! I’ve been looking through a lot of pink and gold Pinterest pics and decided that my spring garden needed pink and gold terra cotta pots!

Materials:

  • Small terra cotta pots
  • Acrylic paint (use a different shade of the same color for each pot and one metallic shade)
  • Clear outdoor spray sealer

Painted Terra Cotta PotsGive the pots 2 to 3 coats of acrylic paint allowing each coat to dry in between. Once your pots are dry do up some designs in the metallic paint – I did stripes and a chevron pattern and painted all of the rims.
