Pumpkin Carving Inspiration
Happy Halloween!! So tonight’s the big night. We bring our pumpkins in from outside, get the cider going on the stove and carve pumpkins. It’s one of my favorite things to do in life. Seriously. There are so many great memories made around the table during pumpkin carving time. We traditionally do this the weekend before Halloween, but we were so busy this past weekend with birthday parties and Halloween parties that we couldn’t find the time until today.
We bought one of those fancy pumpkin carving kits and I’m sure I’ll end up using one of those patterns tonight since it’s so late in the game, but I needed an excuse to go on Pinterest and search for some inspiration. And Pinterest delivered yet again! Check it out:

These beauties blew me out of the water. I absolutely love them. If I’m feeling up to it later, maybe I’ll ditch the pumpkin carving pattern and do this instead. Source: Design Sponge

Maybe I won’t carve my pumpkin at all. Maybe I’ll just decide to draw on it instead. I love these! Source: Country Living

After seeing some of the incredible carvings out there, now I’m wishing I had started sooner so I could create something magical and spooky for Halloween. I’ll give you a peek tomorrow on Transformation Tuesday. We’ll see what we can come up with in our Nest.
