Twine Candy Canes

I can’t believe in less than two weeks it’ll be Christmas, where has this year gone? Luckily, I started my Christmas projects earlier than usual. Maybe time will be my friend and I’ll be able to get my Christmas project to do list all finished! Fingers crossed. Ever since making my Christmas ornament wreath, all I think about now is Christmas. Good thing or bad thing, I’m still unsure, the earlier I think about Christmas, the more things that get added to my list. I can now mark off these twine candy canes I’ve been wanting to do for awhile now!

I love candy canes, there a must for decorating for Christmas. I recently made a burlap candy cane wreath and figured since I’m on a candy cane roll, why stop there?
Twine Candy CanesI bought these plastic candy canes and had twine on hand, got my hot glue gun out and I was all set! That’s all you need!
Twine Candy CanesI put some glue on the end of the candy cane and then started wrapping the twine around and made sure there were no gaps. Every once in awhile I would apply glue in the middle or wherever I felt it needed it.
Twine Candy CanesAfter doing a few I put them down by the ones that weren’t twined and couldn’t believe the difference. I’ll never look at plastic candy canes the same ever again!
Twine Candy Canescan’t wait to put these on our tree! They were fun to do and didn’t take much time at all. I’m so happy with the way they turned out. Thanks for stopping by!
