Mason jars are still a big part of my decor especially in our Fall decorations, there is just something about Mason Jars, Burlap and rust that goes so well together for the season. For all you Mason Jar lovers, you are in for a real treat, today I will be joining Mason Jar Monday. I will be sharing how I took all of these few items and turned Mason Jars into a Fall Tea Light Mason Jar Vignette.
Recently I shared my mini pumpkin mason jar lid pumpkin and how I rusted the lids, if you missed that one you can see it here. I had a few left and decided to use the rest of the rusty lids here on some burlap laced mason jars.
The jars leftover from my daughter’s wedding
- I filled them with some dried baby’s breath/
- Added my metal mason jar tea light holder and tea light
- Screwed the rusted lid on top. Done! Now how is that for a quick and easy mason jar project?
Now if you don’t have time to let your lids rust here is a technique I shared on how to apply Faux rust...you may or may not be surprised on this technique, but it is another way to get a fast and easy rust effect. Here is another rust technique you may want to try.
If you don’t want to rust your lids you can use something like this : MASON JAR TAPERED CUP LID found at Farmhouse Decor Shop
To complete my vignette a rusted wire basket is filled a burlap wrapped pumpkin in a nest of baby’s breath
